There are racial and ethnic differences concerning thoughts regarding the spread of COVID-19 or contracting a serious case of the disease. Concerns over unknowingly spreading the coronavirus have increased 8% among black Americans.
70% of Americans support the passage of additional economic stimulus. States are experiencing some of the highest spikes of COVID-19 infections since the beginning of spring.
66% of Americans who qualify for unemployment make more money than they did when they worked, due to the extra $600 federal benefit. This gives people the opportunity to stay at home to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 without causing their households, communities and country extreme and undue financial stress.

Negotiations On The Next Round of Coronavirus Stimulus Legislation

Democratic Caucus Chair Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) briefed reporters about negotiations on the next round of coronavirus stimulus legislation.

Rep. Jeffries called the Republican’s proposed HEALS Act “totally irrelevant” and said it was “dead on arrival.”

Rep. Jeffries said Democrats want to extend unemployment benefits, provide another round of stimulus payments, and provide additional funding for state and local governments, which he called a “line in the sand.”

Nevada Secretary of State

State Level Agency

A statewide elected office in the State of Nevada, it is a constitutional office. They oversee state level elections, businesses, licensing, and securities.

Internal Revenue Service

Federal Level Agency

The revenue service of the United States federal government. A bureau of the Department of the Treasury, headed by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.
